The Northern Lights are most likely to be seen between October and April. Sleep under the lights in a glass igloo at Kakslauttanen Resort in Finland, take a soak in the Chena Hot Springs Resort in Alaska whist gazing up at the celestial display or watch polar bears during the day and the lights at night in Churchill, Canada.

These aren’t the only places to see the lights with Norway, Iceland and Sweden also having amazing views. The best chance of seeing the lights is somewhere remote where there is little to no artificial light. Svalbard in Norway is the only inhabited place where you can experience the lights during the day as there is perpetual darkness between mid-November and February.
